ASHRIDGE
Ashridge: Where Nature Meets Urban Art
In August 2024, Storers Tours ventured into the world of contemporary outdoor culture with an expedition to the Ashridge Street Art Festival. This wasn't just a festival—it was a carefully curated exploration of the intersection between England's ancient woodlands and cutting-edge street art.
Ashridge, better known for its National Trust estate and centuries-old beech trees, transformed into an open-air gallery for this unique cultural event. Storers Tours attended with characteristic thoroughness, documenting the collision of natural beauty and urban creativity that only a street art festival in a historic estate can provide.
From spray-painted masterpieces to installations nestled among the trees, from live art demonstrations to the kind of creative atmosphere that makes you wish you'd brought a sketchbook (we brought cameras instead), the Ashridge Street Art Festival proved that adventure comes in many forms—sometimes it's climbing mountains, sometimes it's appreciating graffiti in the great outdoors.
August 2024: the month Storers Tours added "street art appreciation" to our already diverse portfolio of experiences.
